About Nicole

Nicole was born into a world of art as the daughter of an accomplished sculptor. Her earliest memories were crafted in an environment filled with figurative bronzes and walls covered in massive abstract paintings. Her lifelong exposure to art has greatly contributed to her deep appreciation for it and her desire to create art herself.

Nicole uses various media and rich textures to create her work. Her goal is to create evocative art that sparks the imagination and pleases the eye with contemporary lines, balance, and overall composition.

Since 2011, Nicole has showcased her work in several shows and galleries throughout the region. She has also won two awards through the Lincoln Arts Council and National Arts Program. In 2015, she was selected as a participating CSArt Artist through the Lincoln Arts Council and served as a judge for the Lincoln Arts Festival. In 2016, she was awarded 1st Place at the Celebrate Wildwood Art Festival in Wildwood, Missouri. In late 2017, she became a founding studio artist and collaborator with Chapin Studios and Gallery located in downtown Lincoln. In mid-2019, she moved her studio back home. While with Chapin, she served as an art consultant, co-curator, contributed to new artist acquisitions, handled marketing and social media, and designed and maintained their website.

Nicole resides in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 2016, she left her position with the City of Lincoln Law Department to pursue art full-time. She now devotes her time to creating art in her home studio and spending time with her family and friends. Below are various media coverages of Nicole and her work..
